Michael “Mike” David Camp, age 66 of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016. Mr. Camp was born in Rome, Georgia on September 28, 1950, the son of the Arthur Churchill Camp and the late Louise Owens Camp. He retired from AT&T as a facilities technician with 31 years of service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman as well as a woodworker. He was a long time member of GeorgiaCarry.Org and the father of James Camp, Founding and current Board Member.
Survivors include his wife, Linda L. Camp, his children, Heather Garza of Villa Rica, Heidi Santos of Bremen, Jennifer Camp of Dallas, James Camp of Temple, Stephanie Camp of Douglasville, Tiffany Wade of Carrollton; grandchildren, Emilia Garza, Yllora Camp, Lindsey Camp, Gracie Camp, Sethe Santos, Glorybell Santos, Alexander Camp; brothers and sisters, Greg Camp of Rome, Donna Graham of Cartersville, Nancy Holder of Rome, Danny Camp of Connecticut, Ricky Camp of Calhoun and his father, A. C. Camp of Rome. He was preceded in death by his mother and brothers, Robert and Tommy Camp and special aunt and uncle, Morgan (Dump) Owens and Frances (Ben) Owens.
