On the same day it was served with a summons and complaint from GCO for refusing to repeal an ordinance banning the carry of firearms in its parks, the City of Milton repealed its ordinance.
The attorney for the City of Johns Creek has agreed to repeal the city’s ordinance banning carry of firearms in parks, upon urging from GCO.
GCO has filed its reply brief in its appeal of a Coweta County Superior Court ruling that Coweta County may ban the carry or possession of firearms in its parks.
GCO has filed a complaint in Fulton County Superior Court against Fulton County and six municipalities in the county.
A GCO member has filed a response to the Henry County Probate Judge’s motion to amend a “judgment” of the Federal District Court in Atlanta.
In response to a letter from GCO attorneys, the City of Kennesaw has agreed to repeal its ban of carrying within city parks. GCO wrote a response to the AJC editorial that attacked GCO as having a “dangerous agenda.” The AJC editors did not see fit, however, to print the response from an organization it attacked.
