Update — Henry County Agrees to Redact SSN and to Issue Temps
In response to GCO-sponsored litigation, the Henry County Probate Court has agreed not to require SSN and employment information, and to issue a temporary license to the plaintiff.
The plaintiff in the federal case against the Carroll County Probate Court and the Georgia Department of Public Safety has filed a notice of appeal.

In litigation sponsored by GCO, the appellant has filed his brief in the Court of Appeals of Georgia, seeking to overturn the Coweta County Superior Court’s ruling that probate courts do not have to issue GFLs within 60 days of application.
